Rhode Island Republican Chairmen Endorse Mark Zaccaria

At a meeting of the Rhode Island GOP Chairman’s Caucus in Hope Valley yesterday the group unanimously endorsed 3 Republican candidates for the 2010 election. Phil Hirons, who serves as the Chairman of the Chairman’s Caucus, made the announcement after the meeting. Among the endorsements was an endorsement for Mark Zaccaria as the 2010 Republican Candidate for U. S. Congress District 2.

Michael Napolitano, Chairman of the Lincoln Republican Town Committee and spokesperson for the group stated “Mark is an U. S. Air Force veteran. His record as a former North Kingstown Town Council member proves his commitment to the ideals of the Republican Party. He has demonstrated his belief in lower taxes, a strong military, the need for national security, and smaller government. He recognizes the need to eliminate Earmarks in congress. He believes in enforcing our immigration laws and opposes bureaucratic mandates. He understands that we must stand for traditional values and for Republican ideals. Mark has been an active participant in the Republican Party and has stood tall against Democrat incumbents that do not agree with our message.”

The Rhode Island GOP Chairman’s Caucus is the coalition of the 39 city and town Chairmen which represents the grass-roots local leaders of the state GOP. Among other things, the Chairmen’s Caucus raises money; and helps veteran Chairs mentor newer Chairs on practical political activities of local Parties.
