Let’s Quit Baiting Foreigners to Sneak in to America!
Mark Zaccaria knows that illegal aliens living in America consume precious resources that are intended for its citizens. He also knows that our country cannot afford to allow an underground of illegal aliens who are not integrating, assimilating and becoming citizens of our great country.
We are a nation of immigrants and those that come here seeking citizenship will follow our laws. Today’s illegal alien problem revolves around foreigners who come here only to get money. The longer we leave that economic incentive in place the bigger the problem will become.
Here’s Mark’s plan: Enact a Guest Worker’s program that is easy for foreigners to apply for and that will give them documentation to work for Nine Months very quickly. Then they’ll be covered by Workman’s Comp and they’ll pay regular withholding taxes when they work. At the same time institute E-Verify nation wide, with real penalties for scofflaw employers who hire under the table.
The Three Months per year that Guest Workers have to spend at home will strengthen families who depend on their income. It will also give US Authorities time to decide if each worker qualifies to come back for a second Guest Worker’s cycle. Illegal aliens already here will soon begin to realize they can’t get the work they came for unless they sign up. They’ll begin to migrate back home where they apply to return with heads held high.
